A Comprehensive Guide to Deepika Padukone’s Stunning Sabyasachi Sarees

Deepika made a statement on the red carpet wearing a beautiful Benarasi silk sari from her go-to designer Sabyasachi in a beautiful peacock blue fabric with intricate golden floral embroidery.

When it comes to making a statement, you can always count on Deepika padukone to step out in couture every single time. The actress, who has been experimenting with experimental fashion ever since she made her name in the limelight, recently made a statement at Umang2023 in the heart of Mumbai.

Deepika made a statement on the red carpet wearing a beautiful Benarasi peacock blue sari, hand-picked by Deepika from her favourite designer. The gorgeous blue fabric was intricately embroidered with gold floral threadwork creating a stunning contrast. A Benarasi saree of this calibre usually does not need an elaborate border but this time Deepika chose to add a floral pattern to the broad borders of the sari.

The blouse that complemented her regal look was a close up neckline with full sleeves and beautiful button detailing. She finished her look off with a lavish kundan gold set with matching studs and tied her hair in a middle parted low bun. She added minimal makeup to her look with neutral tone smoky eyes and nude pink lips and well defined brow.

Deepika loves to wear six yard saris for promotional events and weddings. She has a wide range of fabrics to choose from from light organza to classic Benarasi weave. What makes her saris stand out from the rest is that she often collaborates with the bridal couture label Sabyasach. Deepika’s saris are adorned with sequins and gold prints.

This is not the first time that Deepika has opted for Sabyasachi at a big event. In 2022, Deepika wore Sabyasachi exclusively at the opening ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival, and for her morning look, she went for a retro look in a black sequin and gold sari with block printed stripes and beautiful embroidery.

A year ago, Deepika made headlines when she stormed the stage at the Time 100 Impact Awards where she was felicitated for her work in the field of mental health and her foundation ‘LiveLoveLaugh’. Deepika stunned in an ivory sheer sari with hand-embellished sequins and intricate threadwork. She paired it with a sequin-studded blouse with thin shoulder strap and a plunging V neckline.
