Ira Khan, the daughter of Aamir Khan, and Nupur Shikhare are set to tie the knot once more in Udaipur, with a banquet to follow in Mumbai.
Ira, the actress Aamir Khan’s daughter, wed Nupur Shikhare, her lifelong partner, on Wednesday in Mumbai. At a private ceremony, the celebrity hosted the couple’s close relatives and friends.
The wedding took place at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, and was a straightforward ceremony followed by a banquet.
The CEO and creator of the Agatsu Foundation, which provides mental healthcare, is 25-year-old Ira Khan. Six years after being diagnosed with serious depression, she started the organization in 2021. Fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare is a celebrity.
The bride’s head was covered by a dupatta as she wore a lehenga. In contrast, the groom wore a black vest and a pair of shorts instead of the customary sherwani and safa (headgear). Viral images and videos show Shikhare jogging from his Santacruz house to the wedding location. Later, outside the venue, he danced to the beat of dhol with his companions. Videos showed Nupur and Ira signing their marriage licenses in front of their relatives and friends, to applause from the attendees.
Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta, Aamir Khan’s ex-wives, were among the close relatives present at the wedding. Ira and Junaid are Khan’s two children with Reena Dutta. Son Azad is the youngest child he has with Kiran Rao.
